Informations and Cancellation policy

 

The following information conforms with our information obligations under article 246 para. 2 in connection with para. 1 section 1 and 2 of the Introductory Law to the Federal Law Book (EGBGB) and para. 312 e section 1 clause 1 (BGB) in connection with article 246 para. 3 (EGBGB). The following text contains all the important information for consumers concluding a distance contract and for all customers for a distance contract concluded electronically. The following information does not amount to the terms of a contract. Contractual terms are listed in our General Terms and Conditions of Business.

The following information will be sent to you immediately upon receipt of your electronic order by email or as an enclosure. Please bear this in mind if you have activated a spam filter or similar software on your email program. This customer information and cancellation rights information will also be enclosed with every delivery of goods at the latest. You can also print out and/or store on your computer this information from the internet site at any time.

2. Concluding a contract

If you use our online shop, the purchase contract is made when we accept your order by email, fax or letter, or at the latest when the goods ordered are delivered. The acknowledgement email which we send automatically when your order is received by our system does not constitute our acceptance of your order. If you make an order by telephone, letter, email or fax, the contract is made when we accept your order with a specific order acceptance by email, fax or letter, or at the very latest when the ordered goods are delivered.

 

3. Delivery and delivery proviso

We only deliver within Germany. Goods that we have in stock will be sent within 2-5 working days. Where a downpayment or payment transfer has been made, goods in stock will be despatched only when the invoice total has been fully credited to our account. Our internet site will indicate in the product description whether the goods are available in stock. We reserve the right in our General Terms and Conditions of Business to provide an equivalent service of equal quality and price and the right not to deliver the ordered goods where these are not available, in which case the sum paid will be refunded immediately. Please refer in this respect to para. 3 of our General Terms and Conditions of Business in particular.

 

4. Essential features of the goods

All of the prices listed on our internet sites are, unless otherwise specifically stated, final prices in Euro and contain all relevant sales taxes as required by law. There may be additional delivery and postage costs. In this respect, please refer to section 5 below. Information about the features of the goods is contained in the relevant product descriptions.

 

5. Delivery and postage costs

  • Our delivery and postage costs will be invoiced in addition to the final list price of each item.
  • Delivery and postage costs and any other costs arising from the various postage options are contained in our delivery and postage costs summary.
  • Customers will incur no additional costs from visiting our online shop or for using distance communications when ordering from our site.

6. Methods of payment

Our customers can pay using the following methods:

  • PayPal
  • Sofortüberweisung
  • Bank transfer in advance
  • Cash on collection

 

Some payment methods attract additional costs and these are listed in the payment method summary.

 

7. Cancellation policy for consumers

- Information regarding cancellations -

You may cancel your contract in writing (e.g. letter, fax or email) within 14 days without stating a reason or – if goods are delivered to you before this deadline – by returning the goods. The notice period begins upon receipt of this information in written form, but not before receipt of the goods by the receiver (in the case of repeated deliveries of similar goods, before receipt of the first partial delivery) and also not befor we have completed our information-related obligations under article 246 para. 2 in connection with para. 1 Section 1 and 2 (EGBGB) and our obligations under para. 312 g section 1 clause 1 (BGB) in connection with article 246 para. 3 (EGBGB). Sending a cancellation or returning the goods within the period of the deadline is sufficient to satisfy the requirements of the deadline.

Consequences of cancellation:

In the case of an effective cancellation, the mutually received benefits are to be returned and potentially arising derived profits (e.g. interest) are to be returned. Where you are unable to reimburse us either in total or partially for services received or can only return goods in a damaged condition, you are required to offer compensation of equal value. You are only required to pay compensation if the deterioration has been caused by any use in excess of testing its qualities and operation. “Testing its qualities and operation” means testing the goods in questions as may be conventionally carried out in a shop. Any goods eligible for shipping will be returned at our risk but you will be liable for postage costs if the goods delivered are the same as those ordered and where the price of the item to be returned is not more than €40 or in the case of a higher price, if you have not made a whole or contractually agreed partial payment of the price at the time of the cancellation. In other cases there will be no charge for postage when returning goods. Goods not eligible for shipping will be picked up at your place of residence. Obligations for refunds of payments must be fulfilled within 30 days. This time period begins for you with the posting of your cancellation or the goods and for us, upon receipt of same.

8. Guarantee and manufacturer’s warranty

Any guarantee to consumers is entirely in conformity with the provisions of law. This means that if the goods delivered are faulty, you are entitled under the provision of law to demand that the contract be fulfilled in arrears, to withdraw from the contract or to reduce the purchase price. Our liability for compensation is nonetheless bound by para. 10 of our General Terms and Conditions of Business. Please thus refer to para. 10 of our General Terms and Conditions of Business. The deadline for all claims under guarantee for goods delivered is in all cases 2 years from receipt of the goods. For individual goods it may be the case that the manufacturer provides a direct manufacturer’s warranty. As sellers, we do not provide in any case a guarantee that exceeds the legal warranty. Where a manufacturer provides a warranty for its goods, this is indicated in the product description and the warranty conditions are included with the goods

1. How does making an online contract with us work?

You can select an article on our website by clicking on it. By clicking on the "add to shopping cart" button, you can place this in the shopping cart with no obligation to buy. You can check the goods in the shopping cart at any time by clicking on the “checkout” button at top right, the “shopping cart” button at top right or the “shopping cart” button at the bottom of the screen on the website.

Should you wish, you can change the number of items selected in the shopping cart by entering the desired number in the “amount” column and clicking on the “update” button or pressing the “enter” key. You can delete the contents of the shopping cart by setting the amount of the products to "0" and then clicking on the “update” button or pressing the “enter” key. By clicking on the “continue shopping” button you can select further goods if you wish. The goods contained in the shopping cart will be deleted automatically after 15 minutes if you have not added further goods to the shopping cart or clicked on the “proceed to checkout” button to start the order procedure. You can then select the postage and payment options of your choice. The relevant costs of these methods will be displayed immediately. If you wish to buy the goods in the shopping cart with the postage and payment methods you have selected, click on the “proceed to checkout” button.

Now please select if you would like to order the goods without registering or if you would like to order the goods and register as a new customer. Here, please click on “ORDER WITHOUT REGISTERING” or “ORDER AND REGISTER AS A CUSTOMER”. If you have already registered as a customer, please click on "LOGIN FOR REGISTERED CUSTOMERS” and log in with your registered details. Your invoice address and any other potentially different delivery addresses, if entered, will already be stored for registered customers. Changes of address can be entered using the relevant “change address” link. If you are not a registered customer, please enter the invoice address and, if necessary, any alternative delivery address. Where there is a differing delivery address, please tick “enter alternative delivery address”. If you have selected “ORDER WITHOUT REGISTERING”, your details will be used for this order only. If you have selected “ORDER AND REGISTER AS A CUSTOMER”, your details will be stored for future orders. In such cases, please enter your email as a log-in and select a password, which you should enter in the "password" box and the "confirm password" box. Now click on the “continue" button.

You will now receive a summary of the details you have entered and the goods selected. Please check all these details. You can change your details at any time by clicking on the relevant button at the top for "step 1" or "step 2 ".

If all the details are correct and you would like to submit the order you can now finish the order process by clicking on the “buy” button. Before submitting the order, please read through our General Terms and Conditions of Business. Please also note our customer information including the information about cancellations. If you agree to the General Terms and Conditions of Business and have read our customer information including the information about cancellations, please now confirm this acknowledgment and agreement to the General Terms and Conditions of Business and the customer information including the information about cancellations by clicking on the buttons provided. The order process cannot be completed until you have clicked on the General Terms and Conditions of Business and the customer information including the information about cancellations.

By clicking on the “buy” button you will make a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract in respect of the goods contained in the shopping cart. We will confirm receipt of the order immediately by email. This email confirms only the receipt of your order in the system and in particular does not amount to an acceptance of your invitation to treat. In particular, the purchase contract is only made upon our specific acceptance of your order or at the latest through the delivery of the goods.

 

2. Storage of the contract text and customer access

We shall store your order details and send them to you in our order acknowledgement email. You will automatically receive our General Terms and Conditions of Business and customer information including the information about cancellations with our order acknowledgement email. You may store this email on your computer and/or print it out. Our General Terms and Conditions of Business and customer information including the information about cancellations will be included as text in the body of the email. Please bear this in mind if you have activated a spam filter or similar software in your email program.

 

3. Detail errors

You can correct your details at any time during the order process by pressing the “back” button in the browser and then making the appropriate changes. You can stop the entire order process by closing the web browser.

 

4. Contract language

You have the option of making contracts with us in German.
